Paranormal Activity was advertised on TV more than it should have been. I am a huge fan of anything paranormal. I am an avid observer of several hit TV shows like Ghost Hunters Paranormal, Paranormal State, and the Spirit of the laboratory. So seeing all the ads on TV and reading tests in the new film Paranormal Activity I was excited to see the movie for me. So, I went to see him this weekend at the opening night. Unfortunately, I was not impressed as I thought I would been.As I entered the cinema, buy my popcorn and soda, and walked to my seat in the theater I was eager to see what was touted in ads to be incredibly horrible and scary at the point of my dream was interrupted by paranormal activity.I honestly think the previews are better than the movie. Ok, let me be honest, no doubt, the points of the paranormal activity that made me nervous, but it was not until the scenes I saw in the commercial. I could have seen the commercials over and over again and had the same effect without having to pay. Without giving too much away from the film, if you're interested in seeing, I will give a brief account of my views of portions of the film. I will not give away the end in any way.The film begins with her boyfriend, Micah, with a new digital video camera to meet his girlfriend, Katie, at the front door shooting as she enters the house. Throughout the film Micah falls for his new toy and its intention to conduct paranormal activity on camera. Well I can honestly say that he does indeed get paranormal activity in the chamber during the night and a couple of times during the day, much of which looked very real and convincing, but everything leading up to the night filming led to an incredible amount of time. I was thinking in the beginning how long it took to get to the disturbing paranormal activity I've seen in commercials. The film was probably the home video 75 25%% In addition activity.In paranormal all home video clips of the film and Micah and Katie is constantly talking about the ghosts who have been following since I was eight years old the camera as a tornado moved across the room by a majority of the film. My wife went with a headache and stomach in knots, as I had an upset stomach and had to look away several times to avoid getting sick in the stomach. Paranormal Activity honestly reminded me of a cheaper version of Project Blair Witch. Out of the incredibly long wait for the climax of the film and motion sickness, the scenes of the paranormal activity was a true work of art. Paranormal activity was definitely very realistic on screen and made me jump a few times. When you are hearing clearly on the screen steps, doors opening and closing, with no one around, and leaves out of bed feels like you are beyond doubt witnessed paranormal activity and this sometimes scary. Unfortunately, there were only about seven or eight scenes showing paranormal activity. The rest was taping.It home video has said that Paranormal Activity was produced with only $ 11,000 in a span of 20 days. I can honestly say, that showed. I liked the film that showed paranormal activity, but not worth spending money to see it in theaters. I prefer to rent from Netflix and Blockbuster.
